looking for someone that would be able to help me solder the pos lead back onto my lipo pack . the alum tab broke off and there only a 1/4 '' left to solder too?  Cry

First, what is the pack for? if it is primary power on an expensive machine with big current draw you maybe better off to replace the pack.  Second, are you sure its aluminum? if it is it is a challenge to solder at the best of times as it oxidizes rapidly.  It would be a bit odd for the tab to be Al connected to copper wire. 

Let us know what you think and maybe someone can meet with you to give it a try.
