Aluminum Rod

I am looking for 3MM & 4MM diameter aluminum rod, not tube. Have looked at the usual places, Rona, Lowes etc. Anyone have ay idea where locally I can find something like this? Rods need to be about 12" in length...

Have you tried the metal supermarket? They carry rod down to .125" in various grades.

Yep tried them and every other place. Ended up using an aluminum tube with a brass rod inside it, works perfectly.......
