Mid City is moving dirt. I went out and asked them to clear up to the shed. It is done. Any one want to fly the field is open.

Did you go out and check on the road Ken?
The sun is shinning and calling me out but is probably also making the road into a mud pit.

No, I did not check it. It was snowing a little so I didn't go. Probably not good.

Anyone been out to the club house? I was just curious how the road was looking. I might take a run out tonight.

I took a look at the field tonight and the road has a couple of spots where there is a little surface mud but overall the road is good. The pads to the north and south are good to fly on and the ground is dry. The center pad is still pretty wet and the walkway is under some water. Still some snow around the tables by the pit fence but they are moveable. If we could get some decent temps should be good to go.

Nice shed by the way Ken! Should not have to worry about that one leading or blowing away! LOL.

Oh I am so ready to fly!! twitching with cabin fever!

If you find that the road is getting soft or torn up please post up so we can, if we must, lock the gate for a few days. Better to miss a day or two of flying and not rip up the road.

Thanks for the update. Cant wait to get out there.

Cheers

I am hoping the weather smartens up. Wind, snow, what next? I have everything charged up waiting for a chance to get to the field.

Rumor has it there was a steady stream of guys braving the wind on Sunday. Sadly I couldn't make it out but it sounds like it was a good day.

Can't wait!

Glad you got your Protos working. I remember you were having some technical issues at the hangar during this past winter. I recall seeing a great looking heli with quality components.

I'm planning to head out there this evening to give my X5 and 450 Pro a workout.
