If anyone finds a Gaui X5 on the ground east of 34th street, please pm me. I've already spent several hours searching on McCloskey's property without success. Difficult terrain to search.
Thanks.

Hey Thomas

Sorry to hear you lost a machine, That's a weird one!

Can you set up "fail safe" on your radio?  It would allow you to "bring down" the heli before it left the reservation!!

Would hate to see it end up somewere were it could cause trouble.

Cheers
Mark

Went to Great Hobbys today and Travis told me you did not find it. So I went out today for alittle over an hour ( the wind is damn cold ) to look as well and sorry no go. Both the neighbors now know it's out there some were and they will be looking for it as well. I feel for ya kido!!!!!
I will take the grand kids out and look this weekend. If you find it please post here.

I really appreciate both Travises going out and spending time bushwacking for my X5. That's not exactly a walk in the park over there.
I went out several times, once with my wife and spent hours looking for it.
It might have landed in a slough. There's some wetland back there.
I consider it gone and have passed through all five stages of grief over it.
I was tempted to replace it with another X5, seeing I still have some spare parts, but decided it was an opportunity to experience another heli. You know the urge!
I bought a used Logo 600 3D and a new Warp 360 combo. The Logo is going to have a Skookum GPS on it for the "Logo come home!" feature. I hope to test the Warp at the next indoor event. Setting up endpoints using the USB connection to my Brain didn't work so I'll be trying the YGE governor. I might try setting up the Brain governor with a Bluetooth module if the ESC governor gives problems.
Spring is coming....yeah! Meanwhile back to the SIM.
Thanks again for your help and concern.
