Hey Folks

ERCHA  Field access.

It looks like Ellerslie road is still closed between 50st and 34st.  So the best thing to do is come up 34st (Not accessible from the Henday, but straight through from the Whitemud) or loop around from the South on 41Ave SE.

Blame the city Wink

If you have questions call me at 780-919-6153

See you there

Hey Solaris

Generically it is called geotec fabric. It is used as a soil stabilizer in road and landscape construction.

I will try and find where we bought our stuff (It was a couple of years back).  It comes in 16’ wide rolls. For small quantities you can get it from the more commercial landscape suppliers but if you want to do big pads, the ones we have are 30’ by 40’, it is cheaper to buy a full roll. If memory serves they are about 500’ long.

As we have learned they need to be well anchored. We rolled the fabric under ½” rebar around the perimeter and then used the fabric staples to hold it down.

I will do some more digging and post back.

Cheers
