Hello Fliers!

Back around '03 I was trying to break into Helis so I picked up a Raptor 30 Kit with an Airtronics RD6000 radio. I managed to burn though a few tanks, but never got the trainer off before I went off to university and life seems to have gotten busy after that. I've recently dug my heli out of the basement and am interested in trying to get back into it.

Unfortunately the heli wasn't prepped for long-term storage so I'm not sure what condition the engine and rest of the components are in. I did test the radio and the servos and linkages all appear to be working. I was thinking of taking it out and burning a tank of fuel on the ground this weekend just to see if it would run, but that was before the snow blew in.

I was hoping someone would have the time to help me figure out what it would take to get it flying again and maybe even help me trim it up and teach me some maintenance tricks.

Thanks a bunch!

Sure....... the old "Field in my back yard" trick!  lol

Trav knows more than a thing or three about Raptors, should be able to get you well back on track.

Cheers and welcome to the machine!
