Hello Edmonton,

I would like to get into Heli RC flying, hope to learn how to do it well and be good at it, but I would ultimately like to fly one with a video camera mounted on and if I'm going to learn how to control it, I'd love to get a hang of one I would use for videotaping. Could anyone advice me on which models to look at, that would be suitable for this type of aerial videotaping?

Thanks a lot,

Mark

Hey Mark

Learning to fly helies is a bit like climbing the North face of the Eiger!  It is a steep learning curve but lots of fun.

A good camera/video ship could be worth many thousands of dollars. Or you could put a micro camera on a hundred dollar micro heli and have some fun.

Do you have any RC experience?  And is this for fun or maybe a business down the road.

If your looking for a good aerial platform, I could let my Joker 2 go for a reasonable price.
