: aluminium soldering help : chop August 16, 2015, 07:25:18 PM looking for someone that would be able to help me solder the pos lead back onto my lipo pack . the alum tab broke off and there only a 1/4 '' left to solder too? :'(

Second, are you sure its aluminum? if it is it is a challenge to solder at the best of times as it oxidizes rapidly. It would be a bit odd for the tab to be Al connected to copper wire.
