: Logo 600se battery ?
: Freeskiken October 21, 2011, 04:47:54 AM
Hi Just bought a Logo 600se. He ran it on 2- 5s 4400 mAh bateries. 4035-500 motor and Jive 80 HV. Should I run 5s or 6s ? and what size ? Thanks Ken

I have 6 cell 4000 and 5000 packs on a 500kv motor. I get very long flights with both the 5000s around 10 minutes plus with a headspeed around 1750. The 5000s are heavy packs but for what I do I like them because of the longer flight times. 4000s are noticeably lighter. You can try a set of 4000 and 5000s if you like. I use ec5s

Thanks, I wanted to try 6s 5000 nano techs that I have.  But I thought the head speed calculator showed with the 11 tooth pinions the head speed was too high. What pinion do you use ?

11 tooth with a 65% flat curve for all points. If you don't have a jive speed control get one, you will never look back

Ken I'm running the4500  6 cell nano packs at 1500 rpm ,10 min flights smooth 3d on an 11 tooth at 25% . 5000 packs should work .

Thanks, You run at 25% ? What KV motor do you have ? The Jive 80HV should be OK ? I have a 120 HV if needed.

Do you run the 80HV ?

HV80 should work fine for you. Kontronik do not mind to run low throttle.

The 5000 mah nano tech just fit with the counter bearing. I have 4 of these, two flights. I may have to get some 4400 6s nano techs ? and see if they fit better. What is the preferred size for 6s ?

I have 4000 and 5000s. Use a dremel and you can shave a little off the  entrance to slid the batteries in easier

The 5000 nano tech just fit, just slide under the counter bearing. Then when I put straps on there is a little clearance. I was thinking the 4400mah may fit a bit better, not so snug when sliding them in.
